How the visit runs

  1. Door, then temperatures

    The seal is tested with a paper strip and the hinge and panel are looked at first. Then each compartment is logged, and airflow and the defrost circuit are tested. Gauges go on only when the readings point inside.

  2. The fault, and one price

    We name what failed and give a single figure for parts and labour, with our view on whether the repair is worth it. No part is ordered and no panel comes off until you say yes.

  3. Fixed, then shown

    After the repair the temperatures are read again in front of you, and any door work gets a second strip test. Panels are rehung at their old reveal.
